Iron Bulls Ink 2 More PlayMakers

Mishawaka Iron Bulls Strengthen Secondary with Signings of Ronnie Beard and Courtney Williams
Mishawaka, IN — The Mishawaka Iron Bulls Football Club continue to make major moves ahead of their inaugural 2027 season, officially announcing the signings of defensive playmakers Ronnie Beard and Courtney Williams, two versatile 6’2 athletes capable of making an impact on both sides of the football at wide receiver and defensive back.
The additions immediately bring more size, athleticism, speed, and physicality to an already improving Iron Bulls secondary as the organization continues building one of the most competitive defensive units in developmental football.
Beard, a dynamic athlete with strong ball skills and elite length, brings versatility and toughness to the Iron Bulls defense while also possessing the ability to contribute offensively at wide receiver. His physical style of play and ability to match up against bigger targets adds another layer to the Iron Bulls defensive identity.
Williams, another talented 6’2 two-way athlete, gives the Iron Bulls additional range and athleticism in the secondary while creating matchup problems offensively. Known for his speed, instincts, and playmaking ability, Williams fits exactly what the Iron Bulls coaching staff has been searching for as the organization continues building its roster with high-level talent.
“These are the exact types of players we want representing the Iron Bulls,” said J.R. Robinson, President & CEO of the Mishawaka Iron Bulls. “Both Ronnie and Courtney bring size, athleticism, versatility, and a competitive mentality that fits our culture perfectly. Our secondary has taken another major step forward with these signings, and we’re continuing to build a defense that’s going to play fast, physical, and aggressive every single week.”
The Iron Bulls have made it a priority this offseason to strengthen the defensive backfield with long, athletic defenders capable of competing at a high level against elite offensive talent. The organization believes the additions of Beard and Williams continue establishing the foundation for what could become one of the premier secondaries in the league.
As roster construction continues, the Iron Bulls remain focused on assembling a championship-caliber football team while giving players a professional environment dedicated to development, exposure, and advancement to higher levels of football.
